Partigliano in the Renaissance is a journey back in time that from 2017 takes us directly to 1492. On Saturday, June 10 from 6pm, the unique event that transforms the streets of the village. Among the musicians, the noblemen, the knights and the saltimbanchi, the public will be dragged into the magical and incredible atmosphere of Renaissance Italy.
Each courtyard will host a State: here is the Republic of Lucca, the Pontifical State, the Republic of Siena, that of Venice and that of Geneva, each decorated with its historic colors and stencils. And attention: along the streets of the center meets the Lord of Florence Lorenzo Il Magnifico, the painter Sandro Botticelli with his muse Simonetta Vespucci, King Carlo V.
At 18:30 starts the "Renaissance parade" that will end in Piazza Bassi.
During the day, Pope Alessandro IV's performances, Pico della Mirandola's dissertations, the Renaissance music concert of La Dama and the Unicorno, the tour of Carlo V's visit, the visit to the hall of the throne of Alfonso II of Naples and the canopy of the ciambellano.
There will also be gastronomic stalls and benches made of old-fashioned crafts, game stands and puzzles to solve, the craft market and the shows flagship show.
At 22.15 in Piazza Bassi, the Holy Inquisition on stage: edited by Alberico Andreuccetti: hearing, debate, issuing the sentence and executing the sentence in the square.
