Pino Deodato – Il Circo dell’Arte

From August 6 to September 4 the Complex of Sant’Agostino, Sala delle Grasce, houses the exhibition “Il Circo dell’Arte” (The Circus of Art), polychrome sculptures and paintings of Pino Deodato.

The whole exhibition, curated by Enrico Mattei, is conceived as an unique installation.

In this show the main role is played by a sculpture in the form of a clown without clothes. This key figure metaphorically representing those who strip themselves bare to give strength to the creative act and return to childhood through play.

Pino Deodato was born in Nao (Vibo Valentia) in  1950. He lives and works in Milan.
