From 12 December 2010 to 9 January 2011 the second edition of Ri-generazioni (re-generations) is held at Villa Ginori and the nearby “Brilla” complex, in Quiesa (Massarosa).
All works on show have been created recuperating and reusing second-hand objects.
Andrea Primaverili writes on the show’s website: “The fundamental difference compared to traditional art genres and techniques, is determined by the awareness that we always need to start with something to do a creative act. This conscious gesture by the artist, in abandoning the idea of Art as an operation that transcends logic, comes from meeting with the objects and manipulation of materials, way before the idea intended as Divine Inspiration.”
