Marble as a mirror of life, light and histories. From 18 February to11 March, Roberto Mari’s work will be on show at the Grasce hall of the Cloister of the Church of St. Agostino. “Marble, new perceptions”: a narration told through images, saturated in chromatic suggestiveness. The exhibition has been organised by Pietrasanta Town Council Department for the Arts in collaboration with the Gierut Artistic Documentary Archive Committee and is sponsored by FIAF.
Marble as geography of thought, life diary, palpitating nature that writes and describes the magic journey of existence. Roberto Mari focuses on a subject laden with history, with photos that reveal magnificent landscapes. Mari’s love for the Apuan Alps is evident; he is knows all the quarries and illuminates marble with light and colour discovering new pictorial visions.
