From 4 February to 18 the work of March Sandro Cabrini is on show at the Lounge of the Lu.C.C.A. – Lucca Center for Contemporary Art.
Maurizio Vanni, the exhibition’s curator, writes:
“Sandro Cabrini has an ironic-existential relationship with art. He is aware of the meaning of the non-sense of life intended as pure survival, but he is convinced that the superficiality, carelessness, illogicality and many contradictions can be transformed in artistic poetry.
The original aspects of Cabrini’s work correspond to the poetical, mysterious, solitary and collective apparitions based on what Nietzsche would define as Stimmung (atmosphere).
On one hand, archetypal-traces that appear to be a evolutions of marks made in caves 35.000 years ago, on the other, humanized forms that imbue scrawls with positive energy, colour and light.”
