From 3 October to 15 November, Antonio Lo Pinto debuts at the Sant’Agostino Complex, in Pietrasanta.
The artist, born in Catania in 1956, from an early age has lived in Florence, where he has pursued his artistic career. The exhibition “Sculture”, curated by Viana Conti, presents work from 2000 to his most recent creations, with a section dedicated to the Expo of Milano and on the theme of food.
An enthusiast of jewellery and objects from the past and everyday life, Lo Pinto exalts material and forms rendering them monumental, exchanging the epic with the everyday, mixing the gothic style and the post-modern, drawing the viewer into his construct of the universe.
