At 6 pm, Saturday 11 February, at Museum of Satire and Caricature in Forte dei Marmi, there is the inauguration of the exhibition “Si fa per sport” ((We do it for sport)) with drawings by the third year students of “U. Guidi” Middle School in Forte dei Marmi for the 3rd edition of the humorist Contest “Satire at school”, organised by the Museum of Satire in Forte dei Marmi.
The students were given the freedom to choose amusing starting points both from the local and national context, highlighting the shortfalls and contradictions of a Nation lacking in dedication to sport. One drawing shows beach badminton players relaxing on a deckchair, and another that the town swimming pool is really the sea under the wharf in Forte dei Marmi. Others examine the issue of doping or the mirage of promised riches through a sporting career, and so on.
