Thomas Teora presents his latest book where he collects 108 interviews and stories of many elderly Garfagnana, all around the memories of the Second World War between June 10, 1940 and April 25, 1945. Life stories, and over everything and everybody stories of women. Because they have been physically and ideally to carry on their shoulders the family, the house, the farm, the children.
Women in the multiple roles of mothers, daughters, wife, have endured the horror and then rebuild from the rubble the future of their families. But this book is more. It is an original map that is fading away of the places on earth, of many small towns, intersections, paths, farms lost between the valleys and areas that until a few decades ago had a name and attendance whose this book stops names and places, forever.
