On occasion of the VII Day of the Contemporary organized by AMACI, the Lorenzo Viani Modern and Contemporary Art Gallery, in collaboration with Laboratorio 21 and Nasonero, presents “Strati Graphie – Fupete disegna Viani”; visual performances by Erika Gabbani and Gaia Querci.

Through an original artistic performance Fupete creates an new re-examination of the masterpiece “Il Volto Santo” (Holy Face) using virtual drawings of coloured light on this, one of the most important works by Lorenzo Viani.

Thanks to the use of TAGTOOL, a tool specifically designed to draw with light, the artist leads the viewer through a flow of images, giving new life, even if ephemeral to a work belonging to the history of Italian art, making it become a bearer of new contemporary languages.

The performance, created especially for this occasion and accompanied by the notes of the Cabiria, brings two different artistic expressions into contact with the aim of experimenting new visual narrations on an important work from the past.
