The half-empty compartment of a train, in our times, four strangers. An insignificant occurrence, a busty woman passing through the carriage causing a bit of confusion, gives rise, in this first part of the performance, to a stream of consciousness from each of them: some reflect, while others speak on their phone or with the person next to them, allowing the viewer to spy on bits of each of their lives: relations, hopes, dreams, abjections.
The main storyline centres around one of the four, a nameless man who reflects without speaking directly to anyone. During the journey, he mixes memories, anger, his philosophy of life and above all, the image of a woman, his wife.
Until the Police board the train, looking for him.
In the second part of the performance, the action shifts outside the train, in an almost cinematographic mechanism. A talented Commissioner takes us through the investigation that leads us to discover the truth about the man on the train, his wife, and a mysterious music that appears to have unleashed the turmoil at the heart of their existence.

Da Firenze (94km): A11 fino all’uscita Lucca est.
Da Livorno (63km) e Pisa (44km): A12 fino all’uscita Pisa nord, proseguire sull’A11 in direzione Firenze quindi uscire a Lucca est.
Giunti a Lucca, seguire la circonvallazione delle mura fino al bivio con la SS.12 dell’Abetone. Proseguire per 13 km in direzione Castelnuovo Garfagnana quindi voltare a sinistra.
