The Theater of Olivo besides beeing a place of entertainment is an architectural experience. It is located in the place that once hosted a wool puller; built during '500, the puller went bankrupt and its owner left the city. Only in 1649 the "Accademia dei Deboli" (Academy of the Weaks) , an association formed by a group of citizens from Camaiore, asked to reopen the building, so that it could host theatrical comedies and other stage performances.
The wide cultural offer of the present edition is modulated on nine shows. The program brings on stage the most representative actors and directors of the national scene: Marco Paolini, Maria Cassi, Amanda Sandrelli, Simona Marchini, Stefano Artissunch, Giuseppe Pambieri and Lia Tanzi.

Theatrical adaptation to the novel by Vincenzo Cerami (according to which Mario Monicelli directed the eponymus movie in 1977 starred by a superb Alberto Sordi). On stage there will be two big performers: Giuseppe Pambieri and Lia Tanzi.

La divina commediola
An "apocryphal" version of the Divine Comedy signed by a certain Ciro Alighieri, with Giobbe Covatta. For subscribers, this show replaces Croce e delizia… signora mia!!, cancelled for indisposition of the interpreter.
