From 15 November to 7 December, the exhibition by Sofia Rondelli “Elogio del dormiente” (Praise of the sleeping) is on show at the Banca del Monte di Lucca Foundation, in the old town centre.
The twenty-two year old painter debuts with a collection of dream-like images; the fairy-tale like backgrounds and delicate colours immerse the viewer in muffled and serene worlds, far from the noisy frenzy of reality.
The studied refinement and equilibrium demonstrate the expressive and technical mastery, as well as the artistic maturity of Sodfia Rondelli, whose works are on show every day with free admission. Hours:
