The exhibition, on show 6 – 21 July at the “La Meridiana” gallery/studio in Pietrasanta, pays homage to the local area and the arts and culture that have developed there.
The object of inquiry is the marble caves, from the ambivalent aftertaste of support and sacrifice, exhibited in a figurative journey of paintings, drawings and watercolours by contemporary artists.
“The inhabited Caves” precedes the coming event “the Comprensorio dell’Altissimo”, that will be held at Cardoso in Stazzema following on from the celebrations for the Lodo of Pope Leone X.
Free admission. Tuesday to Sunday: 18.00-24.00.
