Masticabrodo is the main protagonist of Antonio Braghini’s puppet theatre company.
Sculpted out of wood by Inaco Biancalana, with his wisps of hair, white face and tailcoat, this character has made a vital contribution to the life of puppet theatre in Viareggio, since World War II.
Once again, the Masticabrodo theatre company whisks us away to wonderland with the show “Ogres and witches” by Gionata Francesconi, performed at Villa Paolina, 16 June, 6pm.
