dal 21 giugno al 6 luglio, presso le Scuderie Granducali del Palazzo Mediceo di Seravezza (patrimonio UNESCO), sarà esposta la nuova collettiva di Vezio Moriconi.
Già dal titolo, “Umanità (s)condivisa”, è intuibile il tema esplicitato dalle opere: fiumi di persone che seguono la corrente frenetica della vita, costituiti da personaggi goffi e grotteschi dei quali è manifesta la solitudine.
“Corpi fisicamente uniti, ma estranei uno all’altro. Schegge impazzite che debordano da ogni pertugio, da giganteschi alveari affollati di una umanità varia e silenziosa che si accalca e si muove come richiamata da un misterioso flauto incantatore.” (comunicato stampa)
L’artista versiliese riesce in questa mostra a rivisitare stili, schemi e temi classici, mescolandoli al graffitismo contemporaneo; presenta la propria opera attraverso mezzi diversi: la grafica, la pittura e la scultura, suo linguaggio predefinito.
La mostra sarà visitabile dal giovedì alla domenica (18.00-22.00) con ingresso libero.

From 21 June to 6 July, the new exhibition by Vezio Moriconi will be on show at the Scuderie Granducali of Palazzo Mediceo in Seravezza (UNESCO world heritage site).
The theme explored is intuitable from the title “Umanità (s)condivisa”: rivers of people ensuing the frenetic stream of life, made up of gawky and grotesque figures which manifest solitude.
“Bodies physically united, but strangers to one another. Scattered pieces that overflow from every opening, from giant hives swarming with a varied and silent humanity that crowds and moves as if spellbound by a mysterious enchanting flute.” (press release)
In this exhibition, the Versilian artist is able to revisit classical styles, schemes and themes, mixing them with contemporary graffiti, presenting his work through a range of mediums, including graphics, painting and his predefined language, sculpture.
The exhibition is open from Thursday to Sunday (18.00-22.00), with free admission.
