At Villa Argentina in Viareggio a charming exhibition dedicated to the artists of Viareggio Ettore George and Inaco Biancalana will be inaugurated. The exhibition consists of more than 80 works, mostly paintings and sculptures, and a small but significant collection of engravings and charcoals collected in an ideal itinerary.
Ettore Di Giorgio, painter and engraver, spends most of his life far away from Viareggio. Inaco Biancalana, on the contrary, is very attached to his native town, never left. This is one of many differences between the two artists, also separated by a generation that "dialogue" in this exhibition through their works. The painter and the sculptor: both oriented towards a figurative representation of reality, their individuality is enhanced by each other, in a comparison of different languages used”‹”‹ for similar subjects.
The exhibition is inaugurated on Saturday, April 8 at 5:00 pm.
