“UNA certa idea di paesaggio”, exhibition by Marian Vanzetto for Seravezza Fotografia

Seravezza Fotografia, one of Italy’s most important photographic events, this year celebrating its twelfth year, will be held, as usual, at Palazzo Mediceo (UNESCO World Heritage Site ) in Seravezza from 20 February to 12 April.

The photography exhibition by Marian Vanzetto, “UNA certa idea di paesaggio” (A certain idea of landscape) as part of the twelfth edition of Seravezza Fotografia, is on show at the UNA Hotel Versilia from 27 February to 27 September.

Perfectly integrated with the hotel surroundings, the exhibition features 6 large black and white landscapes, by the young, but expert photographer Marian Vanzetto.

The critic Wanda Siedlecka writes: “Marian Vanzetto’s work is characterised by an exploration of the real world in the search of interior fantasy. Her black and white photographs capture every tiny detail, each small variation in the continuous spectrum of tonality. On the one hand, there is the radiance of the reflected light, on the other, the deep black of the shadow. The density of detail and stratification of the various planes of perspective create a three-dimensional sense of space, seductive, sensual, inviting”.
