A long and thin boat cuts the square. Two men hold it up: they are arriving or leaving.
“Sbarco” (landing) is the title of Velasco Vitali’s art event, which takes place in Pietrasanta from June to September.
Clandestinity is the common thread of a site specific installation hosted in Piazza del Duomo and the premises of Sant’Agostino’s Complex.
Velasco Vitali chooses a current complex topic for a reflection concerning the wider themes of social isolation, immigration, insecurity and escape. Sculpture, painting and drawing interact in an unique site specific installation, in a kind of cyclic and parallel narration.
