The 50th edition of the Pieve a Elici chamber music season cuts the finish line and "grows" with a billboard full of new musicians and well known big names returning back. 12 are the appointments with which the City of Massarosa and the Lucchese Music Association celebrate the golden wedding between the Romanesque parish church of San Pantaleone and classical music.
This is the program of today Sunday, July 12:
At 9:15 pm – Massarosa, Pieve di San Pantaleone, Loc. Pieve a Elici – Alessandro Carbonare, clarinet, Andrea Oliva, flute and Desiree Scuccuglia, piano. Music by Schubert, Debussy and Bizet.
From 1967 to today, in Pieve a Elici have performed the greatest interpreters of the Italian and international panorama of classic music. The festival was at first curated by the Historical Artistic Association Romanesque Church of Pieve in Elici, which was also the event creator, and then, since the early Nineties, by the Lucchese Music Association.
Supported since the first edition by the Massarosa City Council, the season of Pieve a Elici concerts has grown over the years thanks to the passionate work of Marcello Parducci, former Councilor of Cultural Activities of the City Massarosa and until last year President of AML, who edition after edition has built the success of what is undoubtedly one of the longest lasting music festivals in Tuscany.
Please read the complete program of the concerts on the website of Associazione Musicale Lucchese.
