“Versilia Sognata” (Versilia Dreamed) – exhibition of work by Marcello Polacci

The one-man exhibition of work by Marcello Polacci, retired paediatrician and self-taught painter active since the end of the fifties, will be on show from 23 November to 15 December, at the Banca del Monte di Lucca Foundation.

The Pietrasanta-born artist presents Versilia Sognata, an interior Versilia that springs from the direct dialogue between the painter and his land, reducing sea, mountains, trees, houses and marble to essential symbols and geometric figures animated by bright colours.
