The open-air theater in the Park of Villa La Versiliana is home this year to the 38th edition of the eponymous Festival. A theatrical season that embraces two months of performances of great appeal in a balance between drama, dance, music and cabaret. A skilful combination of tradition and innovation.
This is the program of today Thursday, August 10:
at 9:30 pm – Il Principe Piccino. Displeasing reflections and chattering: are we still able to marvel at something? Paolo Ruffini has translated into the dialect of Livorno the work of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, returning a humorous reinterpretation of the tale that, without disturbing the deep meanings contained in the work, manages to tell with lightness and disenchantment the power of feelings.
More than 50 are the nights of show with the big names of Italian and international artistic panorama. The billboard is the richest and longest of ever. Among the news of this edition there is the “Caffè”- Chantant" with 24 shows that, recalling the famous Café Chantant of Paris, will turn Versiliana in an always animated and pleasant place where people can rest and amuse themselves every night.
The theater program is complemented, as always, by the afternoon meetings at the Caffé (the famous live talk show launched by Romano Battaglia) to which participate personalities from the world of culture, politics, entertainment, science, who repropose the tradition of the traditional cultural clubs of Versilia.
Every afternoon at the Children's area, from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm there is La Versiliana dei Piccoli: games, wokshops, animations, entertainment and shows taylormade for children. This year the program is enriched by six night movie screenings of Disney animation movies.
