Versiliana Upgrade Festival-collective of contemporary scene

“Upgrade Versiliana Festival – collective of contemporary scene”: the real novelty of this year of Festival La Versiliana is the devising and programming of a specific review dedicated to the contemporary scene. For the first time in its more than thirty years history the festival will present a billboard “parallel and integrated”, a festival within a festival dedicated exclusively to the new realities of the contemporary scene of drama and dance. Tanks to partnering with  Comune di Seravezza and Fondazione Terre Medicee, Festival La Versiliana double its stage and at Teatro  delle  Scuderie Granducali di  Seravezza will create a program that anticipates the opening and extends the duration of the festival. Already in June in fact the Scuderie  Granducali will alternate with 11 performances, 8 plays and 3 dance, presented by young award-winning companies and considered by critics the most authoritative of the most interesting views of the new Italian scene. It starts on 19^th June with Thanks for Vaseline produced by Carrozzeria Orfeo. Up Next:  L’uomo della sabbia produced by Menoventi  on 23^th  June , Bloom’s Day first National on 27 ^th  June, co-produced by Studio Argot and Versiliana directed by Claudio Claudio Collovà and Sergio Basile, Peperoni Difficili with Rosario Lisma and Anna Della Rosa on 2 ^th  July, Banane del Teatrodilina on 11 ^th   July Antropolaroid  with Tindaro Granata on 17 ^th  July, Piccoli suicidi in ottava rima  on 21 ^th  July by  the company I sacchi di Sabbia, and ending with Caro George on 25 ^th July  with Giovanni Franzoni for director Antonio Latella produced by Stabile/Mobile. For the dance will be part instead of “Versiliana Upgrande Festival”, the ballet Robinson of company MK  on 30 ^th  June, the company’s extraordinary performance art experimental Collettivo cinetico with two acts and two choreographies: IXI No, non distruggeremo le scuderie granducali e Minibaletto n.1 in which the human body is dancing along with a car, a drone, in a duet not to be missed. Finally the company Ballet Civil Michela Lucenti, Ruggito will present on 14 ^th July.
