A tradition that had once graced the side events of the prades, with exclusive evening balls of great interest and much loved by the public. Also this year the Carnival Foundation wants to recover this tradition by organizing together with some accomodation facilities and with several discos, great events in the month dedicated to Carnival.
Numerous prestigious venues will host the extraordinary masked balls among which the historical Hotel Palace that on Saturday February 11th will host the a spicy masked ball, organized by the Chilly Italian Club. An evening all to be savored with excellent dishes by the Hotel's chef and local produce. During the party, to which everyone must participate wearing a mask or at least a spicy red clothing accessory, will be elected the most beautiful masks. The musician Dino Mancino and the voice of Caterina Ferri will animate the evening, conducted by Andrea Montaresi, TV journalist.
A historical site that will become the stage of the masks. The purpouse of the Viareggio Carnival Masked Balls' organizers is to recover the meaning of the mask and the pleasure of dressing up, offering themed parties to stimulate the imagination and creativity of the public of Viareggio's Carnival. A tradition, that of the masked balls, proposed in a modern, youthful, but also appealing way in order to spark interest and engage all those who love to celebrate Carnival with style, challenging each other with the most beautiful original and fascinating costumes.
