The team "Andare oltre si può" organizes a convivial dinner on the beach in front of Piazza Maria Luisa: beach, sea, sunset, the perfect setting to welcome Summer 2017.
The event takes inspiration from the original "Diner en blanc of Paris", an initiative that has rapidly spread in all major world capitals, involving thousands of participants.
The dress code requires white clothing and white accessories. The huge picnic is self-managed and the participants must bring everything needed to set up and prepare an exquisitely white table: tablecloth and napkins in white fabric, white ceramic dishes and glasses and everything you need to give an unique, valuable and elegant touch to your table: candles, candleholders, centerpieces, flowers, menus, place cards, white balloons. (It is forbidden to use plastic or paper plates, cups and utensils, as well as cans). The only exception to the total white is for the food.
The initiative is dedicated to the Associazione Down Lucca, l'associazione L'Amore non conta i cromosomi e l'Aipd Versilia. Those who wish can contribute to the solidarity projects carried out by "Andare oltre si può" through a small symbolic contribution required when signing up online.
The organizers remind all participants to bring grabage bags. At the end of the evening the beach must be left clean and tidy as it was found on arrival.
During and after the dinner there will be a music concert by the cover band of the Italian singer Vasco Rossi "Combriccola del Blasco".
