XII Convegno di studi "La Garfagnana" / XII Study convention "La Garfagnana"

Examine and deepen our understanding of the society, material culture and development of the Garfagnana area is the main aim of the study convention, entitled “La Garfagnana”, held Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September in the Rocca Ariostesca in Castelnuovo di Garfagnana. This cultural event, which has already taken place for a number of years in the month which marks the start of autumn, is made possible by the promotional authorities such as Pro Loco locale, the “Deputazione di Storia Patria per le Antiche Provincie di Modena”, the “Centre for the historical Documentation of Garfagnana” and Castelnuovo di Garfagnana Town Council, as well as the Council Union. Two days also focussed on the rediscovery of the social organisations in the area in past centuries.
