Francigena Tuscany Marathon – FTM the first marathon on the Via Francigena in Tuscany on the ancient itinerary of "Sigerico" to be walked only and exclusively on.
A path that takes place on paths and paved roads, which for the most part follows the official route of the Via Francigena between Pietrasanta and Lucca. The organization has included some variants for greater safety and to avoid high-traffic routes.
#FTM is a non-competitive free-walking physical walk open to all, starting in Pietrasanta with 4 routes of increasing difficulty of 10, 11, 22 and 42km.
The Francigena Tuscany Marathon is organized by the Friends of the Via Francigena Pietrasanta Association in collaboration with Arciconfraternita Misericordia Lucca and Lucca Ospitale.
