"Working free" is a real community museum, where the historical memory of a place is preserved: Levigliani di Stazzema. The cultural institution is based on the unique relationship between citizens and its heritage of knowledge and traditions, in order to make it vital and capable of participating in development as a resource of the present and not only as a legacy of the past. "Working free" is also a business museum, in which the events of the mining company more directly connected to the development of the Levigliani Community – the "Condominium" cooperative – are traced, also communicating the company's prospects for the future and what strategy changes production impose daily challenges. The museum layout is divided into three exhibition rooms.
