Guided tour of the former Psychiatric Hospital of Maggiano

The visit includes: A path inside the former Psychiatric Hospital: Giardino della Direzione, Chiostro del pozzo, Chiostro della divisione femminile, Chiostro della divisione maschile, church, dormitory, kitchens, painting room and radiological room to retrace the phases of the complex from its origins to its development at the turn of the eighteenth and twentieth centuries.
An exhibition at the Casa Medici headquarters of the Foundation that includes the visit to the two rooms of the doctor-writer Mario Tobino, and a visit to the Exhibition Itinerary Rooms with a view of Humanity that traces the history of psychiatry from the 19th century to the present day through a rich collection of medical scientific instruments.
