Lucca Jazz Donna is a festival dedicated to jazz music and the female figure held every autumn. The purpose of the event is to identify, select and enhance women in jazz: in singing, composition and arrangement, in the use of various musical instruments and styles. Born in March 2005 because it falls in the period in which women's day occurs, over the years it has developed in different seasons of the year, bringing within the walls of Lucca some of the greatest female interpreters of national and international jazz, with an increase always constant audience and attention from insiders. The Festival is organized by the Lucca Jazz Club with the support of the Municipality of Lucca and the Province of Lucca. Artistic director: Patrizia Landi.
