Tombstone to the fallen of Cascio

Lapide ai Caduti di Cascio / Tombstone to the fallen of Cascio

The tombstone dedicated to the Fallen of the first world war is made of local white marble and it has a bronze frame. On the lower side of the plate there is a bas-relief which represents two soldiers, in profile, who are holding a thorns crown, adorned with a Greek cross and with the writing PAX. The bronze frame is incomplete in the upper part and it ends, on its sides, with two arrows. Also the tombstone in the upper part has an irregular shape.
