The exhibition “Rodari Fullcolor” dedicated to Giann Rodari is on show at the Agorà Children’s Library from 23 October to 10 November. Curated by the Giannino Stoppani Cultural Cooperative in Bologna, the exhibition includes 65 illustrations by some of the greatest Italian illustrators who, between 1991-2009, have worked with Rodari’s writing, including Altan, Maggioni, Costa, Carrer, Sanna, Cantone, Rapaccini, Alemagna, Petrone, and Facchini among many others.
Gianni Rodari (born April 14, 1920 and died October 23, 1980) is the only Italian to have received the Anderson award (1970), a type of Nobel to children’s literature.
The exhibition is accompanied by readings, workshops and narrations.
The project was set up with the help of the Fondazione Banca del Monte di Lucca.
