Museum of Sacred Art – Benabbio

Set up in the former Oratory of the Holy Trinity, the Museum was inaugurated in 2010 to preserve, enhance and promote knowledge of the historical and artistic heritage from the Church of Santa Maria assunta and from the territory of Benabbio. The museum itinerary presents liturgical works and furnishings dating from the XII^th to XVIII^th centuries, including a marble Ciborium (XV^th century) by Matteo Civitali and the wooden statues of the Annunciation (1394), by Pietro D'Angelo, father of Jacopo della Quercia.
From 12th june 2021, the museum is open every saturday 10-12 am and 3-6 pm.
